3:30 pm here, and I haven’t heard from Cindy of Starbucks yet, but perhaps she’s been busy writing this press release:

“To support Fair Trade Month 2005 and raise awareness of its new Fair Trade Certified coffee, Starbucks Coffee Company will feature new Cafe Estima Blend as “Coffee of the Week” this week in thousands of Company-operated stores across the United States and Canada.”

This must’ve been in the works long before the Starbucks Challenge kicked off — which actually bodes well for the challenge, I think. For ex, we already know that Cafe Estima isn’t brewing at G Zombie’s Starbucks in Newnan, Georgia today.

But perhaps it’s happening elsewhere in North America? I just got back into LA and haven’t had a chance to drop by a Starbucks yet. For those out there too estranged from Starbucks to actually go into a store and take the challenge — Perhaps you might just peek in the window of your local Starbucks for us and let us know if Cafe Estima Blend is written up on the “Now Brewing” chalkboard –
