Best place to go drinking with your Orthodox Jewish friend: Real Food Daily.
Here you can get local, organic vegan food and drink kosher wine too! After sliding into a seat across from my friend and mentor Roberta 30 mins later than promised, I ordered a bottle of their kosher cabernet sauvignon. Roberta went from peeved at my tardiness to delighted by my mere existence in just minutes.
Aren’t drunk lunches great? After drinking most of the bottle myself, I took the bus home and checked the mail to discover that RFD even remembers my birthday.
Then I fell into a nap, had wine-soaked nightmares, and woke up at 5 p.m. with a lil hangover.
Other mysterious people keep remembering I’m a Scorpio too . Latest gift from unidentified beneficiary to the left — all items off of my Froogle wish list.
Who are ya? And more importantly, will these keep coming? For how long?
Starbucks too hasn’t forgotten me, though the mermaid’s still mum on much of the stats and info I’ve requested. They are, however, super generous with things I haven’t actually asked for. Not that I’m ungrateful — Just, you know, wondering about the stats.
In any case, got a UPS package from Major of Starbucks today, right. Thank you, Major! I’m thinking of reading the book WHILE listening to the audiobook of the same — Something I’ve never tried before.
A whole new Starbucks experience awaits me –

Man - that’s what I get for being a blogger but not a pretty girl. Nobody sends me presents!
Happy Birthday :)

Thanks! Well, the gifts may just be from old friends that forgot to identify themselves as such — They love me, regardless of whether or not I’m pretty, or a girl :)

You could always send the audiobook to me if you don’t want it…

I’ll listen to it first, but would be happy to send it to you after I get through it if you email me your snailmail address :)
