Hi just stumbled upon your site, think your idea is very interesting, if you make a go of it would love to sell them on my site. Don't know if you would like it though as we currently sell booties made out of lambskin, with lambswool inners, including a very funky black pair. Can guarantee all lambs died naturally, so we are making use of an otherwise wasted resource.

Since we can't knit together, we could try coordinating our knitting activities -- Colors and such --

Or is that just nerdy? ;)

As a mom of a 3-month old girl, black booties sound terrific (as does Andrea's bunting)! Last night we got our little bean dressed up in a jumper her uncle and aunt bought her in France for her first trip to a restaurtant (it involved breastfeeding behind the coat rack and changing her entire outfit - NOT a good sign - on the floor of the men's room, but that's another story...). Anyway, she had adorable purple tights on, but since no booties we had matched she had to go bootie-less. Black knit booties from recycled yarn would have been tres chic!

I'll help you! I make a black with white polka dots bunting for babies a lot. It's too cute for words! (It's not my pattern, so I can say that!)
