Ah..I used to live close by the commonwealth club for the last 6 month of my life in SF. Market st. is the financial district, and there are so many things close by that you can visit. 1. MOMA-Museum of Modern Art, sorry for some reasons I can't remember the exact address :-( Ah..it's been just a year and half since I lived there..oh no..(all within few blocks from where you'll be paneling) 2. Buena Vista Park, just in front of MOMA. 3. Small, cheap but very yummy Vietnamese resto, called Tu Lan on 6th St. between Market and Mission st. 4. Plenty of Starbucks within financial district you can do your challenge on ;-) 5. Embarcadero plaza of course, at the end of Market st. by the bay of SF. Farmer's Market there and local producers businesses: bread, cheeses, wines, restaurants, etc. etc. 6. Sorry I can't suggest the green resto :-( but another vietnamese resto in the embarcadero called Slanted Door is very yummy. It's pricey but special for sure. Reservation is recommended. 7. I'm trying to think...it's all fading away from me :-( Gosh, SF is great to find jems everywhere...if you can go to Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito (a little town after the bridge with breath-taking views), Aquatic Park end of Pier (don't remember the pier number now--I used to swim in the bay there when I got real crazy), North Beach neighborhood (great lively area with restos, bars, small shops etc), North Beach you can go up hill to see the view of SF from Coit Tower, Haight Street of course, Castro (gay neighborhood with its great castro theater, Noe Valley area 24th St. with many shops, resto, local independent coffee shops, etc. 8.
