Another failure, this time in Anaheim. But again, the barista was super sweet. She offered to French press a cup for me and went looking for fair trade coffee. She didn’t seem to know Cafe Estima was fair trade, but Estima also wasn’t brewing, and I didn’t see any in store —
So I just thanked her for her time since I needed to get home and work on my syllabus — Classes start next week! — which I’ll do, sometime after this post…
My tally for the week: 6 challenges, 5 failures, 1 success. Only 2 of the 6 stores were actually brewing Cafe Estima, as Cindy of Starbucks claimed they would be this week. WTF?

Do they use that fair-trade water they used to sell when the use the French press? Or do they just lazily use the capitalist “market-price” water instead. ;-)

I’m not sure what water they use… I’d guess they’re more generous with their water since ther 9/11 PR fiasco around water –
