This blogging thing’s starting to poke into my personal life quite a bit.
Now, whenever something marginally interesting happens, a friend will often say, “Oh, this is definitely making the blog.”
Most of the time, it does not, cuz said event has nothing to do with coffee, fair trade, the environment, or local politics.
Other times, I try to find a way to make it fit.
And once in a while, I’ll just put recent pics up gratuitously for no particular reason.
This is one of those times, except I’m tacking on a green announcement here:
I’ll be talking about the Starbucks Challenge at the Los Angeles Greens meeting this Wednesday. Deets below.
The event’s free and open to all. No Green party registration required.
And yes, there’s parking. Behind the building. It’s LA, after all —
Be there, or be Siel-less.
Los Angeles Greens meeting. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 7 pm. Peace Center. 8124 W. Third St. @ Crescent Heights. Los Angeles.

I know what you’re talking about. Although it’s more of a hazard when you’ll blog about anything and everything, like me. I find myself, more and more often, uttering the words: “This is SO going in the blog.”
A new defense tactic, I guess.

I just hope it doesn’t get to the point where people are afraid to talk around me ;)

What is the land mass behind you in the picture?

I believe it’s part of the coastline — We’re standing facing South, though I think it could look like we’re standing facing East –
