Estima MIA at USC

Posted by Siel in caffeine, fairtrade, losangeles, starbuckschallenge (Tuesday February 7, 2006 at 4:56 pm)

Last week I stopped by Cafe 84, a coffee shop on the USC campus that serves Starbucks coffee.

As of January, the places on campus serving Starbucks coffee were supposed to start offering Cafe Estima, Starbucks’ only fair trade blend. This is why we had the Starbucks tasting on campus last semester –

Sadly, only the house blends were brewing. I’ll have to give Lore at Hospitality Services a call tomorrow –

Update, 2/10/06: Lore says Estima will be brewing in 7-10 days :)

  1. Harrumph. Apropos of nothing, the hub is from USC and I have to wear this USC zip-up hoodie every game or the Trojans would be CURSED.

  2. The hub’s from USC? We’ll have to become myspace buds :)

Ok — Even I don’t own an SC zip-up hoodie. After all, we haven’t passed a fair trade ordinance at school yet…

  3. He was so happy he got it for really cheap ($8 or so) at Steve & Barry’s … but, yeah, probably not fair trade.
