Green green notebook

Museum stores have somehow become great resources for local green goods, at least in the LA area. It was at MOCA where I first saw Ecoist handbags, snazzy purses made of gum wrappers –

And at the Hammer Museum on Sunday, I found these Boku journals, made of 30% kenaf fiber and 70% recycled material. :)

I bought a small green one — The idea’s that I’ll carry it around everywhere and write down brilliant ideas as they come into my head. Unfortunately, I totally forgot to bring it to school today, so all of this morning’s brilliant ideas are now lost forever –

BTW — the Societe Anonyme exhibit’s not to be missed –

Update, 5/6/06: I actually bought 2 notebooks at Hammer. The 2nd one’s here.
