I hadn't ridden a bike much since I was a really young kid and just recently purchased a used mtn bike to peddle around in. Let me know if you have any questions about what else to get since I did some research about my accessories purchases. Agree with all of the above about road safety, helmets, etc. If you haven't already, it's extremely useful to take a beginner bike maintenance class to get some basics down and avoid stress and anxiety later.
