A series that runs every Tuesday, where I ask questions unrelated to the environment, fair trade, or local politics that I’ve been wondering about but haven’t been able to google the answers to. Any advice is appreciated.
3 of the positions I’ll be voting on June 6 have only a lone Democrat running. Does bubbling or not bubbling in for that uncontested race make any kind of difference?

At least one person must bubble it in; it is possible to get zero votes and lose an uncontested race. Also there may be write-in candidates I guess . . .

IMHO, there’s never a bad time to vote. However, I hope it leaves you with the memory of what a farce electoral politics has become - can we not even put up token resistance to the status quo?
With all due respect, the Democratic Party is the graveyard of progressive hopes. Their motto seems to be “Bait and Switch.” When’s the last time you were proud - and I mean really, actually proud - to vote Democratic? Unless you live in Russ Feingold or John Conyer’s district, I’ll bet it’s been a very long time indeed.
If you want a meaningful vote for meaningful party, vote Green. That’s what grassroots democracy looks like.

I think we have some good dems for these elections — and I’d like to vote for candidates who might win –
