Liveblogging at Karma Coffeehouse

Posted by Siel in caffeine, fairtrade, losangeles (Monday August 7, 2006 at 11:18 am)

I’m house sitting in the Miracle Mile area this week — and have already drunk all the coffee at the place –

Which is why I’m finally checking out Karma Coffeehouse in Hollywood. This place has to be one of the most spacious yet comfy cafe in LA.

Cushy couches, warm lighting, and calmly caffeinated screenwriters busily clicking away on their laptops at 11 am, drinking organic, fair trade coffee — a dark, smoky roast :)

The place also has cute “make coffee not war” stickers, yours for a quarter :)

There’s a loaner computer with internet access, avaliable for $2 per hour. And there’s wifi — Karma’s costs money, but you can hack on to a buncha open networks, which is how I’m writing this review –

Karma Coffeehouse. 1544 N. Cahuenga Blvd. at Selma. Hollywood. Mo-Fri, 8am - 11 pm. Sa and Su, 9 am to 11 pm.
