A Carless culture’s a series of posts that examines how we can make de-car-ing a sexy and viable travel solution for Angelenos.

A post collecting the entire “A Carless culture” series in one simple spot :)

Here’s why the series got started :)

The Bus

Part I: The 2 main problems with our bus system: reliability and ease of use. How to fix these probs? Appeal to the MTA, and appeal to outside advocacy and nonprofit orgs –

Part II: Become a sexy bus rider. Save the planet while developing a tighter ass and meeting other people with great asses.

Part III: Get active! Maybe you wanna join the Southern California Transit Advocates?

Part IV: Join an advocacy group — or get into activist blogging!

Part V: Get around town without obsessive planning, with a little help from the 12-minute map.

The Bike

Part I: Some web apps to help you map out your bike routes.

Part II: Do we need more bike lanes, or do we just need wider roads?

Part III: Wanna meet other biking enthusiasts? We got a lotta fun bike-tivities out there — Just join in!

Part IV: Some ideas for a sexy biking campaign — Which one do you like?

Part V: Fix — or maybe even make! — your own dream bike at BikeRoWave. East side people might wanna try the Bicycle Kitchen.

The Light Rail

Part I: The Expo line or the Gold line — A battle over which light rail system we should we fund first in SoCal –

More to come :)
