I’ve never actually seen a movie starring Ed Begley, Jr., enviro-forward actor.
Okay, I saw Who Killed the Electric Car, but I mean a film that’s not a documentary — the kind that requires acting skills.
And sadly, I even missed Ed’s lil cleaning demo on Saturday. The dude was promoting his line of cleaning products at the Cleaning Green event at Livingreen.
Livingreen’s a green furniture and lifestyle store in Culver City. Last Saturday, it held a “Cleaning Festival” hosted by Ed Begley, Jr. — including a “Clean Off,” where cleaning challenges were taken on by Ed and Livingreen’s cleaning team.
Apparently, I got there right after Ed demonstrated how easily his green cleaning could take out chocolate and wine stains… He did stay around, though, meeting people and talking green –
I bought a “trug” (right) — basically a bucket of sorts — made of recycled plastic for $10. I’m gonna use it to wash dishes in — then will use the collected water to water my garden-to be –
To be clear — I HAVE seen some of Ed’s TV work — I mean, I was obsessed with Six Feet Under for a while last year. Got Begley movies you recommend for my Netflix queue?
Living Green. 10000 Culver Blvd. Culver City. 310.838.8442.

I’ve been using Begley’s Best spot remover on my carpet. Works like a charm–it does as thorough a job as conventional products, but without the lab chemicals.

I have some all-purpose cleaner from Begley’s Best :) And I agree — works like a charm –

Can’t think of any movies, but he was on the long-running TV series St Elsewhere. Don’t know if that is available though as the series is from before they put everything on DVD the minute the show finished airing. Actually - now that I think about it, I'’m pretty sure the series was before DVD’s existed. . .
