Vote! US Representative

How I’m voting for the environment on Nov. 7, 2006, at the state-level. Here’s how I’m voting on the propositions.

My vote for US Representative, District 30: Henry A. Waxman

What does the US Representative do?: The Representative serves a 2-year term as one of 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, helping to enact federal laws, initiate revenue bills, impeach officials, and elect the President in electoral college deadlocks.

A supporter of environmental issues, Henry Waxman’s put the environment at the front and center of his “issues and legislation” list.

A notable relatively recent enviro action: Henry intro’d the Safe Climate Act of 2006, which has over 100 cosponsors now :)

Henry’s endorsed by the California League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club :)
