Geez, you make it sound like a bribe or something! Really, it’s a variable reward set up for a legitimate purpose…it’s an experiment of sorts. Here’s the reason: “I like people that leave comments. Comment-ary adds color + perspective that the author may not have considered…So in the spirit of giving and encouraging eco-edification via comments…” I have a lot of smart people reading my blog and sending me emails, but I’d like them to add that perspective in the comments so everyone can benefit.
If it’s too out there, I’ll take it down in a little bit…
