Cafe Humana’s global thinking

Posted by Siel in caffeine (Tuesday December 19, 2006 at 3:19 pm)

Why did I not write about how much I enjoyed Cafe Humana’s Cafe Femenino Empowerment Blend earlier?

Cuz I did enjoy it. I just didn’t write about it….

Not only is this Cafe Femenino blend yum, it also benefits the Cafe Feminino peeps (covered briefly here) AND the King County Coalition Against Domestic Violence in Washington state.

I love how Cafe Humana, a Seattle-based fair trade coffee roaster, is using its biz to empower coffee growing women around the world, but also women in the company’s native Seattle :)

Way to think globally and locally! Why would Seattlites buy at the mermaid when you can get yummier coffee from Cafe Humana?
