At this point, I’m wondering why I said 2 weeks instead of just 1. I figure if I can manage to not drink for 1 week, obviously I can not drink for 2. So why go that long?
I complained thusly to Summer yesterday, to which she said, “No — 2 weeks is different.”
She didn’t offer an explanation as to how it’s actually different. She did add, however: “Dude, you blogged about it and everything. You have to.”
Relax — I’m not craving wine all the time. It’s just that going to Green Drinks is not v. Green Drinks if one’s not drinking. It’s like, Green Juice. Or Green Water.
Anyway — I stopped by Green Drinks late Thurs. night. I didn’t feel weird so much — but other people seemed weirder :P
Actually, I recognize fewer and fewer people at Green Drinks these days. Who’re all these newbies? Welcome all of you in the picture to the left –
And BTW — Green Business Networking’s tomorrow night (deets on my calendar). Guess who’ll not be drinking the free wine there! :(
Update, 1/15/07: Goal achieved! Sort of. More importantly, lessons learned!

How about I say I wouldn’t drink tomorrow. And you can just say that the amount of people in the world drinking is still them same so you can drink away. I am Irish no one will question it.
Guilt free ;)

Ah — I think I’m gonna go the whole 2 weeks, but kind of you to offer, simon :)
