During Green Drinks last night, Summer led us on a rampage through the Culver Hotel — which brought us to this odd red room with a bed-sized couch, where we lazed around instead of socializing with other green people. Then the bartender shooed us out.
Which was prolly a good thing, because then I talked to Barent, the Green Drinks organizer guy, to start chatting about the Green Drinks Santa Monica idea.
Possibilities, as suggested by commenters and me: Bodega wine bar. Library Alehouse. McCabe’s. The wine bar sounds the best to me right now, but I haven’t checked it out yet — it’s going on the to-do list for next week! Got other suggestions?
While that gets organized, we need to get a better carpool together for the Culver City one — Last night it was just me and Summer in the car, so we felt a lil guilty –

I guess it would defeat the purpose for me to drive out from the Inland Empire to the next Green Drinks gathering, both from an environmental standpoint and the fact that I couldn’t do much drinking since I’d have to drive home in the end…
I totally need to move.
