Happy ides of March! While you consider your mortality, perhaps you’ll be interested in reading about the latest enviro push in Hong Kong: eco-coffins.

The corrugated cardboard coffins seem to be gaining popularity — which is sorta cool but rather morbid — in Europe, Japan, and Hong Kong….

Now you have a choice between this and the bookshelf-becomes-coffin option.

  1. a greenish “concoction”? not sure of the allusion though…absinthe? there’s plenty of litterary refernces but i seem to only know french ones…it’s not from Zola’s L’Assommoir is it?
