Starbucks’ new game steers treehugger to Trump’s show

How NOT to get people psyched about saving the environment: Make a really, really boring game about going green.

Starbucks — with the endorsement of Global Green — made this snoozer and dubbed it Planet Green. “Any time you get to make the teensiest choice about where to go or what to do, you’re interrupted by an exceedingly long message about saving energy or global warming,” sez Grist blogger Yolanda Crous, who got so bored she started reading up on The Apprentice instead.

There’s some weird irony to the fact that Starbucks is sending would-be enviros to Trumpland. As The Worsted Witch points out, Starbucks’ paper carriers are made in China and printed in Indonesia. That’s some very un-eco travel for ya…. I’d like Starbucks to take its own green travel advice –
