[Part of my challenge to give something away every day for 29 days]

At happy hour last Friday, I was talking about “The Jungle Effect” to my friend Summer, who seemed v. interested in the book. So now that I’m done with it, it’s hers :)

Summer never gets to win any of the freebies because I don’t let her — I think it’d look fishy if my friends got the freebies, even if they may’ve won the drawings fair and square. Summer’s tried to skirt this rule by entering as Remmus (Summer backwards) and This Isn’t Summer, to no avail –

I actually have an ulterior motive for giving Summer this book. Her new year’s resolution was to have one dinner party a week. Somewhat relatedly, I’m v. interested in the Baked Cod with Thyme-Lemon Butter Sauce recipe included in “The Jungle Feast” — Not in cooking it, but helping eat it after someone else does. Tee hee –
