  1. I remember carrageenan as one of the ingredients in my milk in elementary school. Or maybe it was in the chocolate milk. It’s a seaweed derivative (I originally learned this from The Black Stallion, believe it or not–the book, not the movie) and is used in a variety of products so wide that it might as well be the SNL product Shimmer.
