Lit Thursday: In the syntax of distance

A poem about nature can read like a poem about technology, or communication as filtered through technology, or blogging, say. Fragments from poem called “Morphogenesis” by Alexandra Kleeman, published in Diagram:

There is something intricate and methodical about the distance between us. It can be described as a fractal: a structure which breaks apart continually, replicating itself at every scale.

Do you like this poem?

A question mark is useless ornamentation, but sometimes a reply will come.

  1. “Do you like this poem?”

Only if the query is included!
