>> How to make money: Get in the bike or scooter biz. Sellers of two-wheelers are doing well while car makers are not.

>> How to lose money: Intentionally injure cyclists. Christopher T. Thompson’s released on $30,000 bail after getting arrested for allegedly suddenly braking in front of cyclist with the intent to injure them.
>> A list of 50 things being blamed on high gas prices. Oddest item, IMHO: “Kangaroo harvesters are seeking alternative careers.” (via kottke)
>> Back in April, Metro said they’re just waiting to put the rail info in before rolling out Google Transit for LA, Angenelos are still waiting for Google Transit to roll out. Apparently, part of the delay “involves whether Google intends to make money from advertising placed on the maps. >> Meanwhile, some are petitioning for a “Bike There” option in conjunction with Google Transit and driving directions.
