Now that Moo.com’s gone greener, I tried out their service and got 50 business cards printed up –- on 100% post-consumer chlorine-free recycled paper.
What this deal will cost you: $21.99. I’ve noted before that Moo.com’s cards aren’t actually less expensive than those from eco-friendly business card companies I’ve written about before. However, Moo.com lets you order in smaller, more affordable quantities.
Interested? You can read more about the printing process for these eco business cards in my previous post.
While I’m pretty happy with the cards, I’d change a couple things about the product and service. For one, as Steve Balogh of Groovy Green’s already suggested, Moo.com should provide a way for people to review the the final design before placing their final order. A US printing / shipping location would also be helpful, for reducing both shipping time and CO2 emissions.
In addition, I would’ve liked an option to add a recycled logo and “printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper” or similar text, to the final design.
Thanks to Cassandra for designing the cards!

Not to get to pitchy but…Pixxlz.com has smaller sized cards and low quantities too and you can choose between 30-100% Post Consumer Waste. They will put “printed by pixxlz.com” with the various logos (renewable energy, recycled paper, soy ink…etc). Insane live editing to come which will show the entire card before it goes to print. And the design tools are awesome…launching sept. 1.
