A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.
Today’s giveaway’s a DVD copy of Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden, the latest documentary film created by Morgan Spurlock of Super Size Me fame.
I reviewed Where in the World here. Basically, the “hero” — aka Morgan — picks various challenges — aka different real-life locales — and fights his nemesis — aka not actually fights but chats with people.
Read my review, then comment or email by Monday letting me know what in the review made you want to see the film to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Tuesday (more info on freebies here). Yep, you have more time to enter the drawing this week, because I’m planning to be out of town for the long weekend. US addresses only.

count me in..thank you!

i liked the review, and thought that comedy with a serious tone as well is great. If you can feed comedy and end with serious thought, you can gain a large audience. Your review was great, and touching on that in your review really made me want to see this one.

I am interested in seeing this because, #1 I loved “Supersize Me” and “30 Days” #2 I am interested in how he shows the Middle East in ways other than we’ve seen in our mass media sources.
Please count me in! Thanks!

Hello! The movie interests me because I would like the way Mr. Spurlock shows the Islam people and culture compared to the mass media. Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

Hi! I am interested in this movie, because I am curious to see how Spurlock depicts how the Saudis see themselves. He always seems to have a unique take. Count me in. Thanks!

Hi there, I would love to see the movie. This paragraph from your review is the part i found really interesting and really makes me want to watch the movie:
“More realistically, Morgan’s visits to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and other countries are intended to give viewers a sense of the difference between the way the mass media portrays the Middle East, Islam and its followers, and the issues that beleaguer those areas — and the way the people who live in those places and practice Islam conceive of themselves, their religion, and the world at large.”
