Friday Freebies: Two organic cotton mesh produce bags

Posted by Siel in freebies (Friday August 29, 2008 at 7:12 am)

A twice-weekly sharing of eco-shwag.

One lucky winner will get two organic cotton mesh produce bags, made under fair trade conditions in India. Both are from French Basketeer, which makes very cute reusable totes.

Comment or email by Sunday to get into the drawing, which’ll happen Monday (more info on freebies here).

Find out more about French Basketeer’s cool reusable totes while you’re at it.

  6. these would prolly draw puzzled looks from grocery store cashiers, and they might go looking for a barcode to charge you for the bag, too. i’m in. lately, i’ve been reusing old produce bags when buying produce and bulk, or not using any when I can.

  7. Count me in! I’m always re-using the same handful of plastic bags at the farmers market and all my farmer friends know never to offer me plastic bags. This would be a great way to spread awareness of an even better option! Maybe I could get my market manager to offer some for sale at the market booth….
