Lit Thursday: Siel in Fringe

Posted by Siel in art/lit/music, greenLAgirl (Thursday September 4, 2008 at 10:07 am)

What happens to a poem deferred? Apparently, they appear in Fringe Magazine 7 years after they were written. Check out Issue 16 of Fringe and read five of my poems.

The first four — “ZZ,” “SS,” “RR,” and “LL” — are part of a longer series called “CL” that I wrote in the first year of my PhD studies.

I wrote “VI. Industry: Veggie Cheese” 3 or so years ago; that one’s part of a longer series called “Thirteen Virtues,” modeled after Ben Franklin’s advice in his autobiography.
