green LA girl

3rd anniversary

Posted by Siel in greenLAgirl (Monday July 14, 2008 at 6:31 pm)

green LA girl turned 3 on Saturday!

Things that have happened in the last year: got a PhD and a diploma to prove it, began and ended Emerald City blog on LATimes.com, went through a 3-day juice detox.

Also in the last year: My poetry and fiction was published in ZYZZYVA, The Mad Hatters’ Review, Shampoo, and How2. Plus, I wrote a novel.

Some green LA girl mentions appearances in the last year: Sacramento News & Review, KNBC, Good Dirt Radio, and a bunch of blogs. I also wrote a feature article for the Whole Life Times on eco-spin, which was fun –

Here are my first and second birthday celebratory posts.

Thanks, always, for reading –

  7. Congratulations on 3 great years (at least as they’ve appeared to me). Even though its only one of many issues you’ve tackled you’ve made as much as a contribution in that time to Fair Trade as anyone not actually collecting a paycheck related to the movement. Keep up the good work. Now I need to check out this novel you mentioned.

PS – I, too, want to know what happened w/the LA Times. While it must have distracted you from GreenLAgirl I loved the idea of you having a larger audience.
