If Terracycle’s upcycled tree skirt isn’t for you, there IS a second eco-option, but it’ll cost ya.
Amenity treeskirt is made of organic cotton and hemp — and printed by hand with non-toxic, water-based, eco-friendly inks! (via re-nest)
However, outfitting your tree in eco-chic will set you back $130.
If you’re not too keen on juice pouches but can’t afford the eco-goodness of Amenity, consider hitting your local goodwill and finding some pre-loved clothes you can upcycle into your own eco tree skirt. Both eHow and about.com have detailed instructions –
