You’ve got 3 hours to get over to Venice and enjoy the 2008 Abbot Kinney Festival, which has a green area — dubbed CONNECTED — at Milwood Ave.

Last night was the pre-festival green party of sorts, with punk rock bike polo, eco-art exhibits, DJs, and a live performance by TRS-80 — all organized by Sarah of Pink Cloud Events.

There I found about about The Hitch Couture — a mobile eco-fashion boutique — which was open last night and is making sales to enviro-conscious hipsters at the Festival now.

Unfortunately the open bar last night’s kinda preventing me from enjoying the festival today — The post pre-party drinks at Hal’s threw me over the edge….
