Alpine Tree: A second all-cardboard Christmas Tree

Posted by Siel in consumerism, holiday (Friday December 12, 2008 at 1:24 pm)

Whaddya know — There are actually TWO cardboard Christmas trees on the market! In addition to the descriptively named Cardboard Christmas Tree, we have the Alpine Tree from Cardboard Safari. (via ecosalon)

A major bonus of this tree: For the space-deprived, Alpine Tree can be assembled as a “more compact, wall hugging, 180 degree configuration.” Those with more room can, of course, go for the full tree, which measures 22 x 22 x 24 inches.

These trees are made from 100% recycled cardboard and are shipped flat. Each tree costs $28; pick from plain cardboard brown or white.
