Did the Starbucks in the Beverly Connection close? Or is it just buried under construction? I just tried calling their old number, and it’s disconnected. Does this mean the store’s not gonna be back!?
I’m wondering, cuz there are already 5 Starbucks within a mile of that place.
There’ll be another post after the champers, but for now, I’d like to give props to the Burbank Starbucks at Oak Street & Pass Avenue for having the fair trade Cafe Estima on brew when I dropped in last week :)
Maybe that’ll start happening more often around here? Wondering if fair trade coffee will be brewing at our meeting with the local Starbucks people tomorrow morn. Feelin’ hopeful –

BTW — I looked into that hemp coffee filter you mentioned, but was scared away by the $6 shipping fee — Which is more than the filter itself! Am now looking for local hemp coffee filter makers –
