Be a Green Porno star

Green Porno‘s less kinky than you’d imagine, though more creepy-crawly — in a good way. This cute series of short films by Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet, Death Becomes Her) looks at the bizarro sex lives of little creatures — earthworms, snails, bugs, and other teensy wrigglers — with Isabella acting the part of the creatures themselves!

The result’s bizzaro-hilar edutainment. Below’s the Earthworms segment (pun intended), in which Isabella informs you: “To have babies, I need to mate with another hermaphrodite — in the 69 position.”

Watch the whole series on Sundance Channel’s Green Porno site. The short films have actually been online for a while now, but an all-new quiz — What Kind of Green Porno Star Are You? — has made its debut.

The one problem with the quiz is the complete lack of instructions. To determine how buggy you are, click on the images on the page, each of which will give you a multiple-choice question. After you click all 24 images, you’ll uncover your inner bug.

Apparently, I mate like a fly — though I really don’t think that’s an accurate assessment….

If Green Porno makes you curious to find out more about the critters, find your G-spot on the Green Porno Eco-mmunity Map, which lists animal mating locations, insect zoos, and habitats.

  1. bizarro! how strange this “green porno” seems, even more weird that the beautiful Isabella took this upon herself, such a offbeat little side project. THought there would be more pizazz, or something more sexy even, with porno in the name, its a bit disappointing, but it seems she is getting alot of press for it somehow. Not sure if i feel better knowing how earthworms reproduce?
