Sad I’ll be missing this entirely cuz I’ll be in Cooperstown, but a Bicycle Film Festival starts today! (via blogging.la)

It all kicks off tonight at 6 with Joy Ride, an art show inspired by the bicycle, at Don O’Melveny Gallery, 5472 Wilshire Blvd. That’s followd by a Bikes Rock Party tomorrow at The Smell, 247 S. Main St.

The actual film screenings’ll be on Friday and Saturday, at The Vine Theater, 6321 Hollywood Blvd. It all ends with an after party — deets pending.

And BTW — all events will have valet bike parking, courtesy of Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition and Bikestation.

Update, 6/23/06: The LA Film Festival’s showing some enviro-themed films this weekend too :)
