Farmers Markets: 30 Years and Growing

Come eat and celebrate with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at Farmers Markets: 30 Years & Growing, a party at City Hall to celebrate the past, present, and future of LA’s farmers markets.

There’ll be entertainment, a salsa contest, lots of speakers and chefs and celebrities including Jonathan Gold, Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic for the LA Weekly, and yummy fresh local food from farmers and vendors– including and carrot cake for all!

And if you still don’t have a reusable produce bags to put your locally-grown veggies in, you’ll be able to nab a free one! Be there Thurs., September 3 from, 10 am – 2 pm at the Lawn of City Hall, 1st and Spring St. in Downtown Los Angeles
