Ikea no longer offers straw in the cafe….nice, easy thing to do.

People don’t use straws at home, so why do people feel the need need to use straws in the first place everytime they drink a beverage in a restaurant?

Plastic straws are a ridiculous waste of natural resources and they only serve to pollute our environment. I served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Ecuador and ate at many restaurants there, none of which provide straws with the customers’ beverages.

I LOVE my GlassDharma drinking straws. I caught a whole shitload of hate on Fark.com because of them, so they're good for that if nothing else. Seriously, the guys who makes them is the sweetest person. I'd probably buy anything he comes up with.
