		<description>On the budget, I did as much as I was willing to do, raising every tax (I&#039;m a commie, what can I say), and only eliminating things that seemed to have little effect on social services.  I was still 3 billion in the red.  Geez.  :(

This is a bit off topic, but I recently did a little research into using the lottery for (supposedly) educational funding.  I&#039;m convinced we should do away with it.  As an Alabama study called it, it&#039;s &quot;theft by consent&quot;.  It doesn&#039;t actually mean more money is going to education, and creates more problems than it solves.
