>> Mayor Villaraigosa wants to make L.A. coal-free by 2020: “Los Angeles will be a coal-free City in 2020. As nation’s largest municipally owned utility, LADWP will deliver 40% renewable power, with the remainder coming from natural gas, nuclear, and large hydroelectric.” But as TriplePundit points out Villaraigosa hasn’t said HOW he’ll make this happen.
