>> Tweet-a-tree. The United Nations Environment Programme wants you reading its tweets — so much so that the org will plant a tree for every tweeter who follows @UNEPandYou until June 5, which happens to be World Environment Day 2009.

>> Build a Frank Lloyd Wright buildng out of legos. According to Wired, six planned sets include “the Guggenheim in New York and Fallingwater, the iconic cantilevered waterfall-house outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.” The diminutive architectural DIY kits aren’t expected to be cheap.

>> Make long flights bearable by hooking up — via Air New Zealand’s newly launched Matchmaking Flight. The overnight flight begins with a pre-flight party and ends with a Grand Matchmaking Ball. Carbon offsets not included.

  1. “Long flights…” I saw on My Life on the D-List that Kathy Griffen hosted an all gay party flight to Australia. I guess when the flight is nearly a day long, you have to do something to pass the time!

  2. Well from the long flight to and from Israel earlier this month, I found it’s near impossible to sleep…. That said, when I’m sleep deprived, I’m not really in a party mood –
