  1. While I wholly support A Day Without A Bag, today I realized that customers at Rite Aid in downtown L.A. were totally clueless with regards to the notion of bringing your own bag.

As I stood in line with my quart of milk, I watched how customers used Rite Aid plastics bags like there was no tomorrow. Nearly everyone was double-bagging, and everyone took a bag, even for little, single items like a pack of gum.

The fact is, Green Girl, you are amongst a very small club of environmentalists that really do walk the talk. The vast, vast majority of Americans are either clueles, don’t care, or are asleep at the wheel when it comes to doing their part to care for the environment.
