Clicklist: Drugs and the holy land

>> Meth: Not good for the environment.

>> Cocaine: Also not good for the environment.

>> Wine: Singlehandedly saves the environment (citation needed).

>> Did you know there’s a a Christian theme park called The Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida — that crucifies “Jesus” twice a day?! A filmmaker called Marc Vives made The Gift of Eternal Life, a 30-min video chronicling his visit to this theme park:

Twice a day, a bloodied Jesus bears the Cross through a crowd of believers and up an ivy-covered hill, where he is crucified. This Passion drama, accompanied by a dancing chorus performing a set of original songs, is the centerpiece of the park, and it’s what drew me to make a film there in the spring of 2008.

Watch the video on Triple Canopy.
