The fun starts at 10 am on Sun., Apr. 5; a Kids’ Silly Talent Show will cap off the day’s festivities.
>> 140,000 L.A. streetlights are going to be retrofitted with LED bulbs, thanks to a partnership between the city and the Clinton Climate Initiative. The 5-year project begins this July and is expected to “save taxpayers an estimated $48 million over seven years in lower energy costs while removing the carbon dioxide equivalent of 6,700 cars a year from the road.”
