- Transcendentists! Green dentistry makes me feel skeptical — I guess I sorta feel that it’s already tough to find a dentist one really likes, so perhaps that might be of primary concern. Of course, I’d like for all dentists to use low-VOC paints on their office walls…
- Is free wifi really free? Looks like some San Francisco peeps are saying not so much, if the “free” service is littered with ads that take a long time to load. Then you’ve got odd complainers who want Google, the would-be-free wifi provider, to “use its vehicles to shuttle children to the local zoo.” Um, relation to wifi?
- Amphibian Ark! Scientists launch an effort to construct bio-safe facilities that’ll help preserve “thousands of species of frogs, toads and salamanders threatened by a deadly fungus.” We don’t know where this fungus came from, but scientists are comparing the extinction of frog species to that of dinosaurs. - Comrade Clothing: Fair trade, organic T-shirts made at the Nueva Vida women’s sewing cooperative in Nicaragua. Inspiring Ts at $20 a pop.

I like Comrade Clothing! They should make pet sizes for my comrade kitty.
