>> Downtown L.A. could get a new park! The Community Redevelopment Agency’s s proposing to make Grand Ave. between 9th and Olympic narrower by 2 lanes — and turning that extra space into a park:

>> It’s unclear what this park will look like — and you can help decide! Streetsblog L.A. notes that five community workshops and a bus tour are planned for the proposed park. The first happens tonight (sorry for the late notice) at 6:30 pm in the Public Works Building, 1149 S. Broadway, Room SB6, Los Angeles. According to Streetsblog, the meeting will focus on a brainstorming session devoted to prioritizing the features that the community wants to see in the new park.
