The first draft, released last September, was met with much anger and angst by the bicycle community. So far, this draft seems to be making people happier. Get your comments in via a web form, or check back on the website to find out when and where the public Q&A session planned for July 22 will be happening.
>> And to more publicly comment on the treatment of cyclists by the LAPD, join the “Project Civil Obedience” Critical Mass ride this Friday., June 25 at 7:30, starting at Wilshire and Western. The idea: Cyclists will obey all traffic rules, in cooperation with the police. “We will all be demonstrating that WE ARE TRAFFIC by following all road rules to the LAPD and the rest of the public.”
