Haven’t gotten your two cents in yet? Share your best ideas at the public meetings for both the Subway to the Sea and the Wilshire Bus Transit Project, which would create bus-only lanes on Wilshire Blvd. during rush hour.

>> Once you’ve weighed in on public transportation, weigh in on bicycling infrastructure. The new draft of the Los Angeles Bicycle Plan‘s now available. The first draft, released last September, was met with much anger and angst by the bicycle community. So far, this draft seems to be making people happier. Get your comments in via a web form, or check back on the website to find out when and where the public Q&A session planned for July 22 will be happening.

>> And to more publicly comment on the treatment of cyclists by the LAPD, join the Project Civil Obedience” Critical Mass ride this Friday., June 25 at 7:30, starting at Wilshire and Western. The idea: Cyclists will obey all traffic rules, in cooperation with the police. “We will all be demonstrating that WE ARE TRAFFIC by following all road rules to the LAPD and the rest of the public.”
