Clicklist: I heart spinach

  • Meat-eaters — Stop E.coli-ing our spinach! The NYT reports that “The detective trail ultimately leads back to a seemingly unrelated food industry — beef and dairy cattle.”
  • Fair trade meets high art, sort of. Outpost put this together; it’s “inspired by contemporary artists whose performance-based practices infuse artistic production with community organizing.” These event-oriented, performative shows’ll occur throughout Los Angeles. (via art.blogging.la)
  • More activist art: Border Film Project gave disposable cameras to undocumented migrants crossing into the US and to Minutemen trying to stop them. (href=”http://www.goodmagazine.com/”>GOOD)
  • Bill Clinton on the Daily Show :)

  • Lattes get pricier at Starbucks. Right after an announcement saying it’ll pay its baristas better, Starbucks announces plans to cut beverage prices. C’mon Howard — Cantcha take a lil pay cut?
  • And in other coffee news, Einstein Bros intro’s a fair trade blend called Global Village Blend.
  • What do you like better — the clicklist or the wistlist? Lemme know your thoughts in the comments — I’ll decide how to proceed from there.

  1. Starbucks is cutting prices or raising them?

  2. Ah Bill is the man. Loved over here in Ireland due to his work on the piece process. He played golf in a town once and they built a statue.

  3. Jason — Pricier means more expensive. Starbucks is raising prices. Plus, if in doubt, you can follow the links :P

simon — The statue’s hilarious! How fun! I love Bill muchly — especially since he made an appearance in Wordplay, a docu about crossword puzzles :)
