>> FedEx Office aces, Amazon flunks when it comes to using eco-friendly paper. ForestEthics’ 3rd Annual Green Grades office supply report card ranks big companies on their paper policies — and finds the entire industry’s shifting towards more sustainable policies — though “several companies still lag pretty badly.”
>> Hate how your pack of toilet paper rolls comes encased in all that plastic? Get plastic-free Ever-Green toilet paper from Green Bay Converting that comes in a paper box. Unfortunately, Ever-Green’s 20% post-consumer recycled content’s rather low — and isn’t available in Cali stores (though available online).

I do think 20% post consumer content is too low for toilet paper. I buy Seventh Generation’s paper-wrapped rolls by the case from Amazon. It comes in a cardboard box. If you subscribe, you get 15% off. Yes, it does take us a long time to go through it all, but you can skip subscription deliveries and still get the low price.
I’m not willing to go the cloth wipe route at this point or maybe ever.
