  • Blog on the Santa Monica pier! Santa Monica’s expanded its free city wi-fi service to include the Civic Auditorium, Pier and City Hall lobby and courtyard. Free wifi’s already up at city libraries, Third Street Promenade and Virginia Avenue Park. Euclid Park’ll get wired by the end of October 2006.
  • Free your celly from the charge cord! Unplug, and you’ll save energy and money. Also Nokia’s gonna add a lil unplug-me alerts to its phones. (via lifehacker)
  • USC gets on the green bandwagon by developing its own “The Sustainable Organization” program. Looks like the cost’s $900 for a 4-day program, but the website’s rather unclear. Call 213.740.8990 for more info.
