- Bookswim: Netflix for books! Fees range from $23.99 per month for 3 books at a time to $35.99 for 11 books. But since I have free access to the LA, Santa Monica, and USC libraries, I don’t think I’ll join. (via Silliman’s Blog)
- Eternal sunshine: 20 things you need to know about Prozac. “Prozac’s effect on creativity has been much debated – usually with the starter question ‘What if Van Gogh had taken Prozac?’ Perhaps he’d have given up art and become a life coach. Another possibility is that we’d now have more of his paintings.” (via 3qd)
- AltBuildExpo’s happening today, and it’s free. I’ll try to stop by later — Ed Begley Jr.’s lil talk happens at 2 pm, I believe –
- Annatarian: Eco-couture from Sherman Oaks that’s really quite expensive, at $2500 – $6000 unless you’re, say, an actor on her way to the Oscars —

Yeah, bookswim doesn’t make sense to me.
Why pay for something that the library provides for free?
Of course, if your city is like Long Beach, your libraries are open from 11:10-11:35 on every third thursday of alternate months….
